Poor dog, this does look very cumbersome. I am pleased that the RSPCA was able to provide him with a more comfortable muzzle. Personally, I would never tie a dog outside a shop, mainly because of the risk of theft, but I suppose this chap thought he was doing his best to make sure the dog didn't commit any offence if it was touched by a member of the public.
Carole I do not normally comment on so-called "news" articles here although I used to to on Dogsey but this? I would really like to start a News section on Breedia but I do not think it would be welcome. But this was just too much. Sorry but it just upset me so much.
He seems to have tried to improvise on a broken Baskerville muzzle. No doubt this owner has a problematic lifestyle, but the RSPCA must have been happy with his explanation and the dog's general condition, or they would have taken greater action.
Since when did the RSPCA decide that a plastic bag and a load of metres of sticky tape be suifabile for such a a strong dog?
HOLY CRAP !!! Oops, maybe shouldn't have said that...., but Holy Double Crap !!! Who in their right mind does that to their dog? I guess I answered my own question, when I said 'who in their right mind'.... Obviously no one in their right mind What is wrong with some people? Head shake . I just don't get it .
