I am looking for advice for a bone or chew toy for my 10 month old cane Corso. He goes through 'indestructable' toys in just a few days. They aren't cheap either. Any advice?
We bought our dog a Galileo bone and he still has it 6 to 7 years later. Have you tried one of those? It is supposed to be indestructible. I believe we got it from Petco but if you don't have one nearby you could either Google it or look it up on Amazon. Good luck!
The black Kong Ball, there around 23 to 25 dollars US. Little peanut butter in it and he can have a blast. Tough Toy makes a great giant dental rope. (believe that's the companies name) There generally 18 to 20 dollars US. Stay away from Kong's jolly balls, even Corso's the smaller end of the mastiff breeds kill them in a few days.
Labrador dogs can destroy supposed indestructible toys, too. Nigredo destroyed a red Kong, and then destroyed a black one. Took him much longer to destroy the black one, though. He doesn't try to get any treats out, he just enjoys chewing the rubber. BTW - I've never owned a dog that liked peanut butter so I'll never understand how people can use it in Kongs etc.
Yeah, that's what Nigredo had. The problem came in when he decided he wanted to just tear the Kong up instead of try and get treats out of it.
