It was a very good turn out, there was a lizard thingy there & a motorbike hearse A very handsome Rottweiler won the best sit & lie down class & an very beautiful St Bernard won best biscuit catcher & then went on to win winners of all winners [overall winner of all 14 winners of each class] K9 came 2nd in best fancy dress, Skye came 3rd in waggliest tail K9 Rodeo fancy dress 2nd place Skye waggiest tail 3rd place Lizard thingy
The CO-OP was showing off their motorbike hearse, must admit did take my fancy & have looked into price of one
Well done Tina and crew. That is a brilliant fancy dress - the one that came first must have been super spectacular to beat it. Did you only take two of them?
Some of the other dogs at the dog show St Bernard winner of all winners & winner of best biscuit catcher Best sit & lie dog winner Skye making friends
No we took all the dogs but we ended up taking the hooligans & Miss Tinula back home after they had been in the ring [handsome dog & prettiest bitch] as Dottie & Miss Tinula were snapping at each other. [Miss Tinula is old lodgers mix breed dog]
The winner of fancy dress was a male Cavalier dressed as snow white [did look funny seeing male dog in a dog's snow white dress]
Yes she was muzzled for safety reasons but to see her among other dogs was fantastic, she is still bit snappy at children so we took her home along with the hooligans, Miss Tinula It was Dottie & Miss Tinula that was causing the trouble this time & as it was getting hotter we decided to take them home & go back with just K9 & Skye
That's brilliant. We went to a show near Chester. I was uncomfortable in the car going, (just finished AB's for chest, throat and sinus infection, now got UTI). I booked in, found my stay time was not till 2.40pm. Forecast temp. up to 26°. Went back to the ring and scratched. Came home! I'm now on another kind of AB's. Sorry, hijacked post, but not worth one of its own.
I am back on ab's as well for chest infection but as the Big One was on local park [5 min driver/15 mins walk away] if I got tired then can just walk back home if I needed to
Congratulations and well done to both K9 and Skye - you both shoulda won though! I must say that I did not fancy that lizard thing, not the motorcycle hearse - both far too creepy for me.
