Which days? What are you hoping to see/buy?
I will be there Sunday (Beagles, shopping), and possibly the Saturday (Working) too. Will watch the terrestrial TV coverage, (except for what I have to miss tomorrow 'cos of Merry's training class - Grrr!). Will be checking up on friends performance at the end of each day on Fosse Data, and following the Obedience scores as they come in on ObedienceUK! OH in for a few days of peace. I would like to wish @Jackie, and any other Breedia members who may be competing, a very happy and successful day.
The Chow is nice and I love the Dalmatian. Shar Pei always look weird to me but a lot better than usual.
Loved the German Spitz & the Japanese Shiba Inu it was hard choosing between the 2 Didn't like the Pekingese at all, was hoping the Italian Greyhound would win
I only got home in time to see the Toy group, but looked up the Utility results - all four seem to have been quite small breeds. I loved the way Val Blore gave all the Toy finalists have the chance to give her a 'kiss'. A perfect way to show the public that Toys are not as they are often portrayed, but are loving people - centred dogs. Whilst in no way decrying her choices, - she is the one with the hands on - I must say that I loved the US Cavalier. (Well she would wouldn't she?), and also the Bichon. The Northern team has won the Inter Regional Obedience - OK, yes, Stoke is the Midlands, but we are newcomers, only stepping over the border 20 years ago - and anyway because of the way the KC groups areas, the Test C Northerner hails from Lincolnshire! Bring on the Gundogs!
Oh great, thank you Vee! She won last year too. I am so pleased. Her Beagle was also qualified for the same final, (Dialynne Making Waves), I don't suppose you know how she did? Lucy is also in the other (non freestyle) HTM final with Skiffle - how do they remember all these different routines?
@GsdSlave I have just watched Lucy Creek and Teasel the Beagle's performance. They finished 4th., just out of the rosettes. Lovely to see such a happy girl enjoying her time in the spotlight. The HTM dogs all seem to love their job.
I haven't watched too much so far but did see the black Shar-Pei. Stunning dog and the best example of the breed I've seen at Crufts. Not too many wrinkles and his legs were perfect with no sagging of the rear hocks!
Am glad the beautiful Gordon Setter won the gun dog yesterday Good luck Jackie & Figo in breed class today
Yes i liked the Gordon Setter and he was such a happy boy. Noticed some suspect temperements this year. Very poor entry in Gsd's
