Collar, harness and pj's - which took half an hour and a lot of blood to put on.

    My blood, of course.

    Malka and 6JRT's like this.
Tikva's expression in the first one is pure sulkiness.
Coming round a bit in the second one though.

That sulkiness is her normal expression. The trouble with taking photographs with her is that I am usually above her so she looks as if she has a long nose. She is much more like the second photograph.

The pj's were off within an hour and somehow she got the harness off. Well, partly off as I have turned her collar off and clipped it to the harness with a lightweight carabiner. so that it will not come off. But it did. The collar was still on though. I had to clip them together as she has just gone on to a medium mesh harness as the smaller one was too tight round her chest and this one is a wee bit big.

She is very deep chested even though her ribs show, but from her ribs down she is as skinny as a rake. Eventually got the harness back on and after a pocket full of mini biscuits, which she helped her self to, the pj's are now on. For how long though I have no idea.

The trouble is she bites. Hard. And she has very large teeth for the size of her jaws, plus she moves her head round before I can get my hands away.

One of Rosie's first harnesses was

    http://www.amazon.com/IPuppyone-Adjustable-Soft-Harness-Flex/dp/B002D8KA0W

which has an adjustable neck as well as adjustable chest.

The harness was great, but the type of harness you have now fits her perfectly so she presently has one of those. If you are having problems with her because of the neck fitting though, this might be an option for her

Chris - the reason I had to change from Small to Medium harness was the chest, not the neck. I had adjusted the chest fitting as far as it would go but it was too tight. Since getting the first harness [XXS] I have had to change to XS then S and now M, the first two because I could not get them off over her head, then then the S because of her growing out of the chest strap.

So either the neck fitting is too small or the chest strap is. The M chest fitting is fine but the neck fitting is too big. No half measures with this mini monster. Oh and somehow she walked out of the pj's again

Obviously the ones you linked to from Amazon would be ideal... BUT... none of the pet suppliers who sell through Amazon will supply to Israel. I will not look at eBay because they charge four or more times for postage than the item actually costs, which is why I buy from AliExpress in China, as firstly the identical items are a fraction of the price and secondly they are postage-free. Registered postage at that.

On the third attempt again yesterday I got the pj's on again and she kept them on all day until bedtime.

Then got her teeth to the neckline...

    ...and tore it.

    So have her teeth

I am rather glad I agreed to having her spayed so young as she loves being outside on a long tether. The only problem is that she will ask to go out [not that she "goes" outside - she comes in to pee on a puppy pad ] but trying to clip the tether onto her harness is a right booger as she will not keep still.

And she thinks that teeth are for fun when I am trying to clip her on.

She seems to be going through a stage where one minute she wants to get on my lap for a cuddle [and pocket raiding for tissues] to where she only wants what she wants and not what I want.

    Typical Kevin stage I reckon!

@Chris B - got the perfect harness just like this one from Amazon but from AliExpress in China, at under $4, postage-free. Very easy to put on with just a velcro do-up round the chest and the click thing for the D-rings.

    http://www.amazon.com/Harness-Teacu..._UL160_SR160,160_&refRID=1DGHP1WEJ5EPE0GBE8WH

The only minor problem is that the review on Amazon says they run small [most of the things from China do and I reckon the Amazon ones were made in China] and although all measurements are given AliExpress always say the measurements might be a few centimetres out.

So I ordered Large which Tikva seems happy with although I think maybe Medium would be better as these are a wee bit loose although I cannot see that Tikki could get out of them - so I have ordered a couple in the Medium size and hope the Large will be OK for the moment. But I have done the usual, which is swivel her collar round so the ring is at the back, and clipped it to the D-rings with a small light-weight carabiner. .

Assuming that she will be a bit bigger by the summer and the previous type of harness will fit better, she will wear those then as these are rather vest-like and might be too warm - although they are mesh.
