I hate the usual gift ideas ideas. I refuse to give just milk bones and kongs this year. The "hide a squirrel" looks like fun and I bet they would like one of those treat balls that you fill with small treats and they roll around trying to get them out. I'm getting the woof washer 360 too but that's more of a gift for me than them. But I'm looking for the craziest gift ideas you have. So what are you giving your dogs for Christmas this year?
Any of the puzzle toys would be useless with my pups " MMM smell treats, CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH, spit out plastic, good treats"
They don't know whether it's Christmas. Presents come most weeks anyway. All they need are some really long lasting chews, like hooves, to keep them occupied while we pig out!
Dogs care little of Christmas so I don't much worry about it. This year I've already ordered tux treat ball and boomer but I get stuff throughout the year. In the spring I'd like to get a lure course machine.
Only squeakies will do here for her Majesty. She has quite a collection now as she doesn't destroy them, but likes to alternate them
I expect Santa will get a selection of squeakies and antlers and share them out fairly between the three of them. And everything will end up in Chico's bed.
As I do not celebrate Christmas the Devil will not get anything. Mind you, if you saw the number of toys she has - and she is another one who likes squeakies - you would say she already has too many. But I will no doubt buy her another one or three next time we go to the store at the Pension. She also, of course, has Pereg's, and she has taken a great fancy to a couple of those.
Although dogs may not care about Christmas, Rosie is wonderful on Christmas day. Her new toys come out and we have an hour or so of pure joy - so like the kids used to look when they were little. It makes our day and she loves her new toys so win, win all the way round
I kinda go overboard on my dogs at Christmas (told hubby only spent £100 but its near on £2,300 ) but then I don't have kids just my 6 dogs 3 cats 4 rats 3 rabbits & 2 gerbils. K9 last year
Rosie usually gets four new toys - total value usually between £5-£10 so me thinks it is good that she can't read and see what your guys get
I am torn between asking Malka if I can go and stay with her and escape all this Christmas madness, or disguising myself as a needy dog and spending Christmas being spoiled at Tina's house.
Do you think he believes you?! Somehow I cannot imagine you doing anything less than going overboard!
I think it's understandable if you don't have kids to put the money to your pets like that. Kids are expensive, if I didn't have them I'd be able to treat more. I've given few things on Christmas before and their birthdays too but overall I don't make a big deal about it. Usually don't get much and they get stuff all year. I've spent far more on them this year than myself and I'm sure it's as much or more than what I've spent on the kids. I guess dogs can be expensive too lol.
Well I only give him bills that total £100 I hide all the other bills so for the 27 years we been together he's only ever had bills totalling £100 , have bought K9 another diamond collar (fake diamonds ) that alone cost £152 (bill hidden ) My 4 rats have a new 6 tier cage - told hubby got it in sale for £9 I just forgotten to add the £80 to £9 I told him
No as I always go into bank to pay credit card bill & I am always taking extra £20/£30 out of account everytime I go shopping so hubby never notice the missing money.
