Took me long enough to introduce myself so here goes Introductions

Hi Everyone, just checked my emails and found happy birthday greetings from Breedia then I guiltily realised I hadn't even introduced myself yet. Anyway, my name is Jill and I have two fantastic westies called Bungle who is 5 and Bonnie who is 2 next month. Bungle got her name as when she was a puppy she looked so much like Bungle the bear from Rainbow. Bonnie and Bungle are my second and third westies. Our first was Rosie who we rescued from a family who had had her for 7 years but then pulled the 'we have a new baby who is allergic" routine. We took her on as a companion for our springer and they loved each other from the start. Shortly after taking on Rosie we discovered she had mammary cancer. We now know the true reason she was given up. We got her through her horrendous surgery and we had another 2 years with her before she developed Westie Lung which took her very quickly. We lost Bridie, my springer a year later so I am hoping they found each other over the bridge. My dogs got me through one battle with breast cancer and now they are helping me fight leukaemia. My dogs are my life and I am happy to chat with like minded people. Hope this introduces me okay and thanks for all my birthday wishes xx

Actually she is a five-month-old she and not a he and she is a mini-monster Dachshund x MinPin who BITES.

But I love her.

I apologise for the gender mistake but I still think she's adorable, being a mini-monster only adds to character lol

Having had to take her on when she was only three-weeks old [much too young], hand rear and then wean her, I am sure - I hope [that is her name, Tikva which means hope] will eventually stop the mini-monster act and stop biting.

But I just love her.

My Angel Pereg, as on my avatar, was epileptic. I miss her desperately so am prepared to put up with Tikki Tikva until she decided to behave.

Whenever that will be.
