I usually buy mushroom and/or pea. Add some protein mix and it makes a tasty filling soup. Went to the makolet and was told they were out of date. Yah what? Dehydrated soup powder packets out of date? Ahem. Guess who was given a hundred of thousands [OK I exaggerate a bit] rather tasty packs of various flavours of instant soups, a rather a lot of containers of noodle and rice wotsits - just one week out of date? One week out of date and I should argue?
My cupboard is full of out of date dried pasta & rice, but its ok as my dogs don't know they are out of date & my little nephews & nieces love making pictures with them.
Nice one Malka! I am always letting tins and dehydrated stuff go out of date, we eat it regardless and have never had any ill effects.
Yes but - I rarely use tinned stuff and it lasts for yonks - but I do like the dehydrated mushroom soup with some powdered protein added. Rarely buy noodle wotsits but it is always useful for emergencies - especially when they do not cost anything. So - I now have a problem in that I do not have any more cupboard space.
Should be fine - bargain ! When you say 'out of date' is it past the 'use by' date or the 'best before' date. Either way it'll be perfectly ok
Who cares. Actually about a week either out of date or best before, and I always add some protein powder [either hemp or pea] and for what they cost, ie nothing, who is going to argue?
