No photographs yet but "It" does not want to keep still, plus ""It" rather likes her neon pink and black harness and will not let me take it off her. OK - you wanna wear it, you wear it. It came from eBay UK [with a few toys, well of course I do not spoil her - much] and it the tiniest harness ever. I think it was described as a teacup harness? I just know that it was the size for Tikva. And she will not let me take it off her. Little booga
Do you seriously think that "IT" will keep still for a photograph? When I say that "IT" is small, believe me, "IT" is small
Apologies for duplicate photographs. I could not edit/delete and she STILL will not me take her new harness off her. She says it is hers and it will stay hers.
I think I got the harness and a couple of toys from eBay UK - arrived very quickly. Well she does like her toys...... ...says me having to pick them up all over the place. I think the harness was XXXXS or something, but Tikva really is very small. And she does not want me to take it off, even at night. And when Tikva is not happy, she bites. She is a horrid little puppy but I think I will keep her.
Very cute little girl. What are you going to do when the other harnesses get there and you want to change it?
She is teething and she bites. And I go OUCH OUCH OUCH. And she stops. But she is very young and has a lot to learn. But she will, or else...
I do love these mesh harnesses all 6 of my JRT's now have them, all a different colour, blue, green, pink, purple, yellow, orange plus couple of black ones & red one (black & red ones were free from modelling job) Now al you got to do is clip lead to harness but make sure you have hear plugs in, as Tikva might scream place down when she realizes your in control of her & she can't run off xx
I did and she did. Went over to the macolet with her on my lap, lead clipped to harness... ...and she screamed.
Little tip for helping her get used to harness being put on and taken off. Get a treat (the cheese you can squirt from a tube is great as you can let her just lick the end) while you manoeuvre the harness on and off. They quickly learn. I use a similar mesh harness for Rosie. They are great and really comfy
The problem is my useless hands - it is a bit of a performance to unclip the harness as my hands just do not work very well, and Tikva adores her harness kept on. That puppy is evil. She is not yet into treats. Did I say that puppy is evil? But I love her. Sometimes
I think she just likes wearing the harness and it is rather difficult for me to unclip and then clip it on again, so I reckon she had decided it should stay on. I have never had such an independent stubborn puppy before, but, hopefully, she will grow out of it. Eventually.
IT is now not wearing its harness. Why? IT got under my shower chair when I was having a shower and screeched but refused to move. So I reached down and hoiked IT up, managed to somehow unclip the harness, and sat her on my lap. So she has had her first shower and I am hoping her harness will dry quickly as it is much easier to pick her up by her harness. But IT enjoyed the shower!
I had ordered some XS harnesses before I realised how tiny she is. This one is from Ireland and is XXS [and rather inexpensive] so I have ordered another couple. I have also done a "Tina" and ordered her some fancy collars... ...do you think I am spoiling her?
