Wife posted on her FB, Mouse the puppy and Lulu the pitbull playing. Yes as a joke,as Lulu and Mouse play pretty much everyday and she will even swing from his jowls provoking him to play. Well she got blasted as to how she could let her puppy play with the big mean pitbull. Just got to say some people should learn there breeds and maybe stop drinking the media koolaide. Yep I can almost see the pitbull hurting the puppy. Here are the pictures.
Seriously what kind of friends does she have. People are really ignorant. If you're taking pics got are obviously supervising. Lulu is adorable.
Eh, mine do this. Thing is, I'm not a huge fan of it and I stop it after a while. However, there are never fights or anything... it's all just show. Yelling at each other He bit her leg... Only lightly, but she curled her lip and he let go Arguing over something... I'll say that mine usually aren't playing, but arguing or trying to decide the canine pecking order. Due to that I stop them after a while. This is an old video of them. It's fairly obvious that Jade isn't playing... so after a bit of this, if Nigredo won't leave her alone... I break it up usually. No point in letting one dog harass the other. http://vid518.photobucket.com/albums/u343/myrasosweet/100_3641_x264_zps3f8023be.mp4
If you saw my two play fighting you'd be convinced Georgina was trying to murder Gwylim. She's twice his size and her favourite hold is to pounce on him, grab him by the scruff of the neck, then sit on him. He loves it and always manages to wriggle out of her grasp and then give her as good as he gets. But to anyone who's never seen them play fighting before it must look quite horrifying!
This is Georgina at 3 months old play fighting with Chloe my Tibetan Spaniel who only weighed 9lbs. Even at that age Georgina weighed in at a very solid 15lbs!
Gosh if anyone saw my 6 playing they be calling the firing squad, it looks vicious & nasty but its not its all play. play fighting is all part of dogs learning how to play nicely [roughly]
Adorable photo. I find it fascinating the growth rates of dogs. My Nigredo was 19 lbs at 16 weeks and he's currently 92 lbs (ideally about 87 lbs, little pudge) at just over 2 years. My last dog was about that size at those ages and was a MAX of 65 lbs. Same puppy weights, WAY different adult weights.
I guess it's what you're used to sometimes. I remember one day when the plumber was here. We were standing in the kitchen and Mr. Foote was by the counter baiting Callie to play. The plumber startled as Callie snarled and Foot hissed and appeared to launch into a full attack. But for them it's play. Callie could kill in one bite. Foot is big enough to blind him first. But for them it's a game. Two manly critters play wrestling then going off to nap. But if you're not used to seeing it every day it does look a bit rattling. Likewise the faces the dogs make...Grandma what big teeth you have!
Chico's head often disappears inside Pepe's mouth when they're playing. Poor Pepe always comes off worse when they play - Chico hangs on to Pepe's face and ears by his teeth. Pepe has the patience of a saint!
