My kid misplaced my camera again otherwise I'd have pictures. We have a twenty gallon goldfish tank on the divider between kitchen and dining room. Chii is a Munchkin cat ( we adopted her from her owner, but not intentionally because she was munchkin). That breed has tiny legs on a regular sized body. She is also fat, old and grumpy. Grumpier still when I came up from the basement to water, water everywhere...she displaced about a quarter of the tank. The fish are okay and she's just cold and wet. Apparently she jumped up for her afternoon nap and went swimming...gotta get a sturdier lid. Feel bad for her, that water is COLD
That might be the next step- just enough space for the tank to be vented but too tight for kitties to lay on it. Give us another shelf too, great idea!
