I posted that earlier http://www.forum.breedia.com/find-new/269639/posts but then I saw somewhere that it had been withdrawn as the puppy did not belong to the person who said he was the owner and had been sold on. But that link has now been removed so I have no idea whether it is true or not.
Ops missed your posting somehow. It is still listed as one of there official superbowl 2015 commercials, so as of yet not pulled, and no posts on there site as to any issues with it.
That's what the spot costs is, not included is the cost of making it, most likely total is more like 10+
I was actually looking for "Keep Calm and Save Your Pennies" but I could not find one! That was at the mention of 8 million dollars for a one minute commercial.
Like LMost says...that does not include the production costs. Just the price of one minute of air time. I can think of better places to put their money. A spot in my pocket would be fine! And I'm willing to share.
There actually one of the few I give a pass to. Budweiser donates a incredible amount, to different organizations, as well as hosting Soldiers Day at most of the US bases for the Armed Forces.
Now I could be wrong...I only catch snippets of news from hubby having it on in the background...but I believe the puppy in that ad was actually different shots of a whole buncha puppies.
I usually love the Bud ads, and definitely adore the Clydesdales, but after initially thinking awwww what a cute ad, it then occurred to me that the poor wolf is being demonised again That sort of ruins it for me.
