So what's everyone love past the dog/dogs and family? Mines easy Work/Mouse/Wife/kids and grandkids. The my Bike, if you asked the wife my priorities are Mouse/Bike and I give the rest attention when Mouse is sleeping and it's bad weather. Have ridin for about 34 years now. My other baby.
To be honest LMost I much prefer Mouse to your bike if only because he's a lot more cuddly! Apart from the doglets my passion is my veggie garden, reading, cooking, sewing and exploring the Hungarian countryside in my Noddy car which I love driving!
Mine is gnomes I love gnomes I collect gnomes I am mad about gnomes, just in case you don't know I like gnomes x
Like Barbara, I far prefer Mouse to the bike, although the bike is really rather splendid! My passion is my dog, my dog, and to be honest, just my dog nowadays.
Lovely bike, was my OH passion before he moved onto campervans, had bits everywhere when he was restoring them. l love Gardening, Fairies, Wild camping in our campervan, l am very passionate about Wolves, listening to 50´s & 60´s music, sewing ,also an ardent Elvis fan.
For me it's being a dog servant, dog walking, dog training, Obedience shows, Breed shows (these days mainly spectating - sigh!), and helping out at breed shows and working trials. In my spare time I read mainly dog books, and participate on Breedia and Dogsey. What a boring person I have grown into!
My hubby would be just so jealous of that bike...he's owned several over the years but that one is a beaut!!!!!!!!! Beyond the dogs? The cats, the rats, the plants, still have two kids home...there's always something that needs feeding. As I'm typing this I have Ninja the cat on my lap and Stumpy pacing next to the computer. She's usually my computer cat and he's in her space. My passion is reading, books and writing. I started a major sorting and donating project last year-ten floor to ceiling shelves through the house and space was still a bit tight. Even after donating perhaps 200 books there are still new ones popping up all the time. Still find time to write. Haven't been published yet...but someday.
Just remembered, I do actually have another hobby. I have around 300 dog models, pictures and plates - and quite a few vintage dog books - I guess that would make me an antiques enthusiast! Just spare a little pity for my poor husband.
As a former biker. I love the bike! I've had a few dogs that rode on the carpet covered gas tank. That was a hoot! But now-a-days.....I seem glued to the t.v. or the computer.
I wanted to add art in any number of forms. One thing I'm proud of...at work we all wear the required apron but are free to personalize it as we wish. I got in the habit of drawing and then painting dogs, cats, flowers. A co-worker noticed and asked me to do one for her, then her friend, then their friends, then their friend's friends... I'm as street-wise as a loaf of bread but taught myself the style of "tagging", graffiti art. The young girls love it especially. Great if I'm ever held at gunpoint and they shove the spray paint in my hands..."Okay granny, we know who you are, get to it!"
My passion is dogs, dogs and more dogs, I love reading but it's about dogs dog mags pug books anything pugs, I love walking but always have a pug or three with me. This actually makes me sound like I have a very sad life. But at least I have me pugs in it.
