Heiko is on Glucosamine, but ive been reading up on Microlactin ,which seems to have good reports, has anyone tried it if so what do you think of it.
I've not heard of it, but have you tried bone broth? It is excellent for bone/joint and even gut health.

@GsdSlave - thanks Vee - I already make chicken broth from chicken carcasses/backs, plus beef broth when Meir [one of my taxi drivers] manages to get bones for Pereg which are sold here as soup bones - and if he gets beef marrow bones he asks for them to be sawed into slices. Some of the beef bones I do give her but some I also make stock with others, just as I do with the chicken carcasses and backs which she has raw and I cook for myself. I never thought of adding egg shells and of course I do not have any crustation shells, and I did not know about adding vinegar to release the glucosamine and chondroitin. As a child I well remember Mother making calves foot jelly to take to poorly neighbours - maybe I can get Meir to get some feet for me? I so wish I could get chicken feet now but apparently they are no longer available since chickens were no longer permitted to be killed in towns - and the local slaughter houses will not sell them.
