I wonder if it was ever shown in the UK? I can't remember ever seeing them before. I do remember wonderful Perry Como and Andy Williams Christmas shows!
As we light the first Hannuka candle tomorrow - this is my turn! Oh, but this is a mash up not what we sing!
Found the version we sang today its called "Amen" (still is Mary had a baby just different tittle) the Riga boys choir are singing it on YouTube (help Malka can't post it)
Now I don't want to start a fight, but I far prefer the Gospel Church singing it. But now I can't find it. Still, It is the season of goodwill and all that so I'll let it pass.
Yes that's it that's the one we sang well the choir did I tap on tambourine. It sounded brilliant in the cathedral, shoppers were coming in listening to us.
No - nothing like that (but I enjoyed it anyway!) The one I found had the same words and tune as the one you posted at 6.01, but it was sung by children and the congregation of an English Gospel Church. And now I can't find it, but I shall look again!
Not that one, but thank you for all your efforts. I have finally found the one I love - a joyful rendition with swaying and clapping and the congregation joining in. I still can't work out how to post it here - the title on youtube is 'Medley Mary Had a baby & Amen'. All the singers are enjoying it so much, it is really uplifting.
