    B type doggies

Does anyone else have a dog that simply does not belive that life begins untill after noon?
I get up at about 7-7.30 in the morning to get my son off to school and for me to go to school as well. Destiny has been sleeping in my bed for the last few weeks as I have night terrors and she always gives me these sad "do I have to get up?" eyes when I lift the blanket of us and get out of bed. Then I let the other dogs out of their crates and everyone goes outside for their busniess but I have to order Desty to get up and go outside and as soon as she is done, she will race back to bed and crawl under the blanket. I then go to school and come home again around 10 and she will still be in bed.
I can´t even get her to eat breakfast, the lazy rugrat :048:

Sounds like Chico! The other two (and every other dog I've had) are really excited when I get up and can't wait to race around the garden. Chico stays put. I've given up offering him breakfast - he never eats it.

At the other end of the day, when I'm trying to relax in front of the telly, he's racing round, demands to be let out so he can run round the garden, comes back in for another circuit of the furniture, then out into the garden again - and so it goes on!

I think I have to accept that I am a lark and he is an owl!

I have a dog who goes out for her last pee after she has had her 11pm medication BUT she usually needs to go out again a couple of hours later - and maybe once after that - for a pee and a poo.

And then come 7am the alarm goes off for her medication and she will happily stay in bed while I convince her to open her mouth and swallow..

But even if I get up and stay up after 7am [and have another zonk on the couch if I am lucky] De Dawg gets on the recliner and carries on zonking.

Pereg sleeps on [not in] my bed Dagbjört because she is epileptic and I have to know the second a seizure starts, so it is not the same as your problem although I fully understand your problem with Destiny.

I do not call Pereg Da Booga for nothing. But oh how I understand what it is to have a dog that expects you to live by their time and not by yours.

Charles and Tweed are A type.
Eddie and Carole are B's. No, thinking a bit deeper, Eddie likes to get up late AND go to bed early.

Rheana gets up off the couch to pee and poo and to eat. Always late in the day. I often wonder how a tiny 3lb. dog can hold it so long. She is 14 yrs. old and has been this way since I got her at 1 yr. old.
