Janet I have bought all my Christmas presents & they are all wrapped & cards written out just waiting for the 1st to send them all out x
That's OK - being prepared is OK. It's just sending them out this early that I can't understand. And in any case, if I send cards out too early I know I will get a card from someone with a change of address in it, and I have to decide whether to send them another one or not!
I used to send loads of cards but gave up altogether about 3yrs ago, couldn’t see the point anymore of sending them to people who I never seen or heard from for years.
The problem with Christmas for me is that we do not celebrate it - it is just a normal working day. So while the rest of the internet are celebrating with family it gets very quiet for me.
You can always talk to me over Christmas Malka. In Hungary they celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve and they don't have a Boxing Day like they do in the UK. All rather puzzling to me because I'm the only one in the village who celebrates on Christmas Day!
Well I suppose they have to celebrate Christmas on different days in different countries, because otherwise how would Santa manage to get round everywhere.
Dunno what you're going on about Malka. What do you mean, there really is a Santa? Course there is - if someone has told you he isn't they're pulling your leg. And if you don't get nuffink from him, it's cos you must have been a naughty girl.
Yes there's a Santa I always see Santa's helpers in town, because the real Santa is making sure his sleigh is in good working order. Got all my Christmas dec up already, well the nursery has theirs up so I put mine up x
'Corse it cud also be cos Malka dont leave Santa a mince pie and a tot of whisky ... and a raw p'tata for Rudolph!
But but but but but... ...Malka no gets mince pies 'ere an' whisky innarf expensive. 'n'anycays "p'tata" be de woid fer de sweet fings. Patata be dere name 'ere. De reg'l'r wuns be "tapuah adama" - odd 'cos de woid fer happls be "tapuah etz". See "tapuah" means happl an' if u sez "tapuah adama" it be happls in de groun' but if u sez "tapuah etz" it be ona tree, see?
Bit like wat it be in Frenchie language ... " pomme" is a happle wat angs on a tree,an "pomme de terre" be a spud. Now ere in Ungary an "alma" be an happle an at ome a spud be a "krumpli" ... but in a shop or restaurant a "krumpli" be a "burgonya" ....see?
Will someone contact Tina and tell her to recapture that gnome and keep him under control. Kindly remember that I have a tiny little Chihuahua and I dare not let him out into the garden while that gnome is roaming free to commit atrocities.
