...I've ordered myself a hideous Christmas jumper. I try and get one every year, but often leave it too late and they've sold out.
I'll have to look out for one of those - that would REALLY embarrass my son if I went out wearing it. I get my jumpers from (logically) the christmas jumper company. This year I've gone for the wally reindeer.
I love the black one - really cheerful - but I can't do with short sleeves in Winter anymore. I wonder why there aren't more long sleeved T-shirts?
Just looked on Primark web site & found this one, which I have ordered my hubby to buy while he's in town Take one iconic Christmas advert, combine it with a blue knit with IN-BUILT LIGHTS and what do you get? A supercharged Christmas jumper! Coca Cola 'holidays are coming' Christmas jumper its only £20.00
I love that hat - Chico would be able to curl up inside! Great T shirts (presumably you've got the gnome one Tina?) And the Primark jumper is a real bargain at £20 - I expect they'll be flying off the shelves! I know what you mean about short sleeved T shirts in winter Carole - more suited to the Australian market at Christmas time I'd have thought!
I wear T-shirts in house & jumper when out, yes Janet me got the Gnome t-shirts (well couldn't decide which colour to have so had all 7 colours ) the hats come in all different designs there's Santa's, Snowman, elves, tree & coca cola lorry ones but that one is £10
The only trouble with Christmas jumpers is that every time I look for a jumper online, the only ones are Christmas ones. Starting from July! And all I want are jumpers to wear during the winter, not just for Christmas. Apart from which they really would not be suitable, would they.
I imagine there might be a few raised eyebrows in the macolet if you turned up wearing a Christmas themed jumper!
My late landlord, David z"l - had picked the "Bells" ring for his mobile phone. I never had the heart to tell him that "Bells was actually "Jingle Bells"! And I had great difficulty in keeping a straight face every time I heard it!
Carole I have found you some long sleeve Christmas T-Shirts These are just plain long sleeve t-shirts
Thanks Tina, what would we do without you! I suppose the one with the puppy could just about be a Beag - but I think it's probably a JRT. The plain colours are lovely, esp. the teal, emerald and salmon, but a bit low for when you have to bend down to your dog. (We small dog people have to weigh up these things). Where did you find the puppy one? It would look good with a bright red gilet!
I just Googled long sleeved T-Shirts & they popped up, the plain ones were from ebay, they had round, V-necks & Polo ones
Can anyone tell me why I have just checked eBay for those plain teeshirts? I have more than enough already and definitely do not need any more !
Now if I was in England for Christmas, like last year, I'd buy one to embarrass my son - who naturally NEVER does anything to embarrass me! They had some lovely Christmas jumpers, hats, gloves and scarves in Tesco today and I was really tempted. Ended up though being sensible and bought black track suit bottoms and a lilac fleecy anorak for when we go to training.
