    Remembering all the war dogs

    K9 is going with me to the remembrance parade on the 9th November, he is going in memory of all the war dogs, he will be wearing a special war dog poppy.
    We had the great honor of representing the war dogs last year & its a even greater honor for K9 to represent them again this year.

    Ive read the book Soldier Dogs: The Untold Story of America's Canine Heroes ( It is a great look into the life of military K9s .
    Love the Poppy Tina, is it knitted or crochet x

    K9 is representing a JRT, I have photo of the dog with some military personal & another where the dog is being lowered into a submarine.

    I wear two poppies, usually from 1 November each year - a red one and also a purple one which is worn to remember the animal victims of war.

    And on Remembrance Sunday I also wear my father's WWII dog tags [still on their original bit of - well, it looks like shoe-lace].
