I like them scruffy!

And a funny thing is that before we were married, my future husband and I were talking about what kinds of dogs we would one day have (i.e. I was pointing out to him the ones I liked!). I pointed out a Bedlington in a book (a show dog) and he said it was dreadful and he'd never have a dog that looked like that. The very same afternoon we went to Greenwich Park, and we saw a scruffy one. 'I like that, what kind is it?' he said. I don' think he believed me when I said it was the same breed he had dismissed only a few hours earlier.
