    Hello. Newbie from Newbury! Beddie Whippet owner

    Hello, new poster here.

    Any of you out there have a Bedlington Whippet? We have had Bella for a few weeks now, and she's been excellent - so pretty!

    I love that dog! Rough coated lurcher types are my favourite type of dog.

    I've got three - a parti-coloured Standard Poodle - he comes running with me, I'm not brave enough to take him when I'm cycling!, - a cocker spaniel (I used to run with him but he kept picking up the scent of pheasants) and a puppy Chihuahua.

    I used to have a lurcher called Gertie. She was big and we think she was a Deerhound cross. I adore all running dogs/sight hounds.

    Well Pereg will have to fight Bogie and Chico for it! (Not Pepe - he's the biggest wimp out and will hand over anything to anybody.)

    You should try cycling, it's brilliant! Our old lurcher passed away this year (Misty) and she would run around 6 miles or so....all along the canal where I live, so she couldn't come to any harm, except fall in the canal!

    Running ? What's that? Georgina like her Mum is built for comfort not for speed and the fastest she'll move is at a sedate trot!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    It is enough that I have to cook for myself Andy, so Pereg has hers raw! I started changing from kibble around June/July 2011 and in the blink of an eye she was fully on raw.

    Quite handy actually as I cannot get pet raw food here so she has the same food as I have, only I cook mine and she has hers raw! :D

    This is her first meal, which has her supplements and vitamins in it - "soup", ox lung, and about six different vegetables! [I cheated a bit as some of the vegetables I had lightly steamed and then frozen and the rest were from packs of frozen mixed vegetables :oops: ]

    Her second meal is usually a frozen chicken back. Crunch crunch crunch!
