K9 is not feeling to good today, took him to the vets & they given him a jab, he's eating drinking & walking ok, he's just not his bouncey self. K9 in his hoodie K9 wrapped up in blanket K9 keeping warm
Poor K9 - perhaps it's just the after-effects of the excitement of the party. If he's eating, drinking and walking OK it doesn't sound as if it's anything to worry about, but hope he's back to his normal bouncy self very soon.
Vet prodded & poked K9 all over & pulled his legs every which way not one single reaction from him, but vet decided to give him a jab & gave me 4 pain killers to give to K9 tomorrow & Friday & to take him back Saturday if still not right.
Poor baby,hope he's ok soon,I love his hoody!if he's eating,drinking and toileting ok that's the main things x
K9 been back to vets as he was finding it difficult to stand/walk morning, the vets thinks he might of pulled a muscle now, as K9 flinch as Vet ran hand round the right hand side of his rump today, so another Jab & given more pain killers & been told no walkies for next few days
Poor little lad, a pulled muscle must be painful. If he wants to come and stay with his Auntie Barbara, we can snuggle up together and look after each other till we're both better.
I think I being coned by K9, I went & bought a hand held massager today & was gently rubbing it on his side, but every time I stopped he started groaning again & I am sure he had a smile on his face. K9 can now stand & walk without wobbling over & he's taking the pain killers without me having to put in butter, will see how he is on Saturday, if he looks like he's better I not bother going back to the vets until after the bank holiday.
K9 says only if you hand feed him prawns & strawberries, did tell him you got broken hand so won't be able to hand feed him x
Sounds as if he's enjoying all the attention - you want to watch he doesn't deliberately injury himself in future just to get another massage!
YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE my wee man is back to his bouncy old self again, he's still bit stiff when he first gets up but I gently massager his legs then he jumps up & shoots off, still not going to walk him for at least another 2 days. Washing daddy again
No he's on lead walkies for a week then see if he's ok if so he can be let off for run about on park. Hubby as built fold away ramps on sofa & bed to help K9 get on/off after speaking to vets, they said small dogs that jump on/off sofas chairs beds can pull muscles or sprain their back legs, so am taking no more chances ramps are now on sofa & bed.
Aaw bless. What a good Dad he's got! A pack of small dogs can be so giddy can't they? - especially when they have one of those mad half hours. I hope they can remember to use their ramps.
