Pretty lights - I bet Christmas is good round your house!

I am interested in gardening and watch all the TV programmes and love wandering round Garden Centres. Mostly though I let my husband and son get on with it and I'm responsible for the indoor plants.

I don't know about the mystery plant either, but it does look vaguely familiar.

No idea what mystery plant is I bought it from a car boot/Sunday market about 4 years ago, it changes the colour of the flowers every year, first year they were lovely deep blue, then light lilac last year orange & this year they are red.

Wow. That sounds really interesting. Can't you take it to a decent garden centre for identification? - Or just a sprig if it's too big. Post a pic of the flowers when they come. You must let us know if you do find out.

Not sure about the plant Tina :) I love my garden and spend a lot of time there finding gardening a very relaxing occupation...
Some of my neighbours have rather nice lights that glow in the dark. I think they may be solar lights..

love gardening find it very therapeutic, when we moved here the garden was laid in paving slabs and the borders all shingled, there are large established bushes ect: and very large Palm Trees who are forever dropping leaves, but it’s a bloody nightmare trying to plant anything, I started a ‘Fairy Garden ‘last year and though still ongoing im well chuffed with the way its turning out, l also got OH to make me a Herb Garden and now in the process of making 'miniature gardens' in large pots.
lts hard to tell from pic but i wonder if mystery plant could be an Azalea

cant say im in to gardening, the flower bed im responsible for in our carpark is a bit wild, i weed it in spring and chuck a few packs of wild meadow mix seeds on it to come out after my daffs have died. im sure they are weeds in there aswell but cant say i can tell the difference so when the 3 elderlys on the row say anything i explain its a wild meadow and who am i to decide what plants live or die, if they dont want me to look after my patch anymore they are more than welcome to do it
