Guess what I saw today? Today we went Beagle watching at the Hound Association Championship show at Stafford, and what else did we see but 3 Azawakh! They weren't as big as I thought they would be - but were very sleek and elegant. A table was laid out with lots of photo's and handouts, (history, breed standard etc.). I thought of you Katie, and wished I could have taken some for you - but there again, you've probably got it all!
I was told that there would be about 7 or 9 there all together being shown. I really wish I could have come along but it was way too far for me to travel alone on public transport
There were 7 entered - 2 owned by Churchill, 4 by Snowdon and 1 by Minto & Snowdon - all were entered NFC, so I can't say which three I did see as they were not wearing numbers. I imagine they took part in the parade but I couldn't stay for this. All the other Import Register entries were Cimeco Dell' Etna (16 of these).
Ah yes I knew Churchill would be there with her bitch puppy and her dog. I talk to her one facebook quite often. Really wish I could of made it, if there any will make it to Crufts next year I will have to trek up there to meet them
If only I was ready for a pup. 5 of these 6 puppies are looking for homes, they are 7 weeks old and utterly adorable I know exactly which one I would choose if I was in the position to take on a pup

I want a dog myself. If I have more than one my second will be another dog and if I end up with three the third would be a bitch. I don't think I would ever go for more than 3! lol
