I find chicken livers or pilchards in tomato sauce always tempts them. Keeping everything crossed she makes good progress.
Been out to see her this morning I took some pilchards in tomato sauce had a couple of licks at it that's it but the vet said she's eaten some chicken and fish this morning so a big improvement she seemed brighter today. I took Morris and poppy with me poppy was so pleased to see her but mills didn't really respond to her but I took them all on a little walk on the grass at the vets then cleaned mills wrinkles cleaned her ears an gave her a brush she drank some Walter then we all sat in the back of the car mills laying on her back having a belly rub for a good hour half till the nurse come looking for us then we took her back to the kennels and settled her back in its heart breaking leaving her there I told her I loved her and we all miss her and told her she's got to eat so I can take her home hoped she listened.
It's sounding promising. How wonderful it will be when she's well enough to go home where she belongs.
Still keeping little Millie in my prayers - I hope she will be able to go home very quickly now she is eating a wee bit.
It sounds as if she has turned the corner now. I hope she will gain strength quickly, and soon be back in her own familiar place.
Well I think all your well wishes are working there magic I phoned vet at 5.30 she's still off the drip had some more to eat and there starting her on oral meds tonight how great is that my little fighter.
Yay! Come on Millie girl - eat a bit more and take your medine and then your Mummy can take you home! xx
Great news you've all been waiting for Millie's home picked her up this morning she was very excited to be home she eat some nature diet so really pleased with her needs to get her strength back now goes back for check up tomorrow.
Thank Heavens for that - I am so happy that our little Millie is now home! Polite snuffly kisses and tailwags from Pereg to Millie, gentle cuddles for her from me, and many (((hugs))) for you,Carol.xx
Carol, I care very much for all Breedia [and Dogsey] dogs - just as Breedia and Dogsey people care for my beloved Pereg with her life-long condition. I would not be much of a dog-lover if I did not care for little Millie and all our other dogs, would I.
