Pereg says to tell K9 that the "fruit" in her dindins were red peppers, yellow peppers, cucumber, courgettes, pumpkin, peas, green beans, yellow beans and [hidden somewhere] sweetcorn. The only actual vegetables were carrots and cauliflower. The meat? Oh, that was ox lung. Raw, of course! Too late Janet - it has gone! Incidentally the dark green liquid it was all in was her vitamins and supplements "soup" which had a mix of whole grains and lentils in it as well - Pereg does enjoy her dindins! Evening meal with be a raw chicken back straight from the freezer. Crunch, crunch, crunch!
Yum thats looks lovely. We have some dogs at work at the min on raw and it looks like raw spaghetti bolognaise and smells like it. I cant wait for owner to come back so i can ask whats in it.
It actually smelled as nice as it looked, and it was all human food as well, with the exception of a tsp of Canine Granulated Greens. And that was probably perfectly edible for humans as well!
It takes a bit longer to get everything prepared compared to the ease of just putting some kibble in a bowl, but I know that it is much better for Pereg and she really does enjoy it. And she is well worth the extra effort and time because I love her and only want what is best for her.
