    I wonder if Nick needed to fake his own death - because either gangsters or the police are after him. But does that mean that 'Charlie' is in on it with Nick? I wish they'd hurry up and put us out of our misery!

    I think Nick will turn up again! Don't believe he is dead. If that "grandson" of Dot's is a policeman, it must be a great job - he isn't ever at it!!

    i met nasty nick last year in brighton as they did a preview of some god awful musical about the who at an event i was at. will be good to see him back on the sqare

    My son was saying for ages that they should have Danny Dyer in EastEnders as he would fit right in - and sure enough, now he's in it.

    Yes, he's perfect for the part.

    One actor I wasn't expecting to see as Shirley's father was Timothy West! He's such a good actor, though, that he is believable in any part he plays.
