You're right there toondogs! That was a great video - I love the Black Eyed Peas. I have a huge range of CDs from heavy metal to opera. At the moment I'm going through a country phase after hearing the girl singing Hell on Heels on The Voice, so I bought the CD of it by the Pistol Annies, and another couple of country CDs.
Good idea Malka I've recently been leaving the TV on all day because Georgina got agitated at some of the noises it emitted and I thought leaving it on would desensitise her .... which it has done, but until you mentioned it the word "silence" hadn't registered in my pea brain! The TV has now been turned OFF!
I am very pleased to have found a little gadget that allows me to play the music on my iPhone through the speakers in my car So I can listen to all my fave music when I am on the move. A song I love at the moment is ... And also this ...
I'm not really keen on the up to date music, recently i've been playing alot of Eva Cassidy Also love the song from the Film Frozen 'Let it go ' Which I sing along too very badly
everything. i have music on all time and listen to a bit of everything from metal to dance to country. its all about lyrics for me. love love love music and may god bless the man who inveted the ipod
I'm the same - all sorts of music, and have it on all the time. As for the ipod - I'm convinced I run a lot faster since I bought my ipod. I nearly take off when Ace of Spades is on!
It's rather strange, there was a time when I listed to music all the time now I hardly ever do. I have radio 4 on most of the time so I guess I am listening to the spoken word. Other than that I am listening to silence with noises of the house . I wonder if this is to do with age
I'm much the same. The only time I listen to music is when I'm in the car and the radio's on all the time. Can't understand a word that's said in between the music 'cos it's tuned to a Slovakian station and I canta speaka da lingo! At home I love listening to the sound of the birds singing, insects buzzzing and all the noises associated with living in the middle of nowhere!
I keep listening to Bruno Mars at the moment. I should listen to Radio 4 more. It's a couple of years ago since I listened to The Archers - I expect it will still have all the same characters in it!
Because I am deaf in one ear and only have limited hearing in the other, speech via radio/television/whatever is difficult for me to hear clearly enough to understand. Luckily though my "good" ear still has sufficient frequency hearing for my music. I might not be able to hear the words of some singers but am able to hear the music that I love. Before my hearing deteriorated I used to listen to Radio 4 before I left the UK, and then BBC World Radio when I came here. But I just cannot hear words clearly enough so stick to my music when I want to listen to something.
Omg I had no idea the original video I posted was of two people snogging !!!! I just copied the link of the first video that showed up in youtube!
