Beautiful dogs I see from your profile you are a breeder Crazycockers , do you have any litters on the ground? A friend of mine has cockers as one of her shortlisted breeds and may be interested in contacting you.
Thanks Azz, yes dogs are keeping me busy. Bonni no litters are the moment, sorry. Daughter getting married in July so have to stay pup free till after the wedding
We would like to introduce you to our new boy that we imported from Poland at the weekend, at the moment his pet name is Garreth (that will be changing) he doesn't understand English so for now we're working on tone of voice etc.
He's a very smart looking dog Sharon, I am sure he will do very well for you all the dogs in this thread are lovely Could you also post some tips about importing a dog if you get a moment please Sharon? We often get questions about it and it would be great to hear from someone who has done it.
Fiona age 2.5. American bred English Cocker. An incredibly fun dog. A little theif <who swipes anything that catches her fancy, will go down a slide at the park, always wants to play, has an excellent memory and trains super-easily. She is my first English Cocker and I couldn't be happier. What a great dog for an active person who likes spending time training and being outside. As a fun experiment I bought a freeze - dried pheasant wing and took it to the woods, put her in sit/stay and hid it in the tree-line. She dashed right in, found and brought it right to me. She knew just what to do. Iam thinking of getting a field bred Cocker nextbecause they have less coat. Can anyone tell me if they need to be groomed. Also how much do they shed? My EnglishCocker, while shedoes need tobe groomed and trimmed, sheds only a little.
Hello Mel and gorgeous Fiona - I am sorry that I cannot tell you anything about a field bred Cocker and grooming because I do not know anything about the breed, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will see your post and be able to advise you.
