Looking at all your photos makes me want to get a puppy So just for the fun of it, I'm interested in what you might recommend I'd like a dog that... ...isn't too big ...isn't too small ...easy to groom (shorthair) ...can do long walks in the summer, ...shorter ones in the winter ...is people orientated ...can be left home alone without too much worry of being stolen ...doesn't really bark unless there's some noise ...barks if there is some noise I think that's about it
mum has westies and they pretty much fit that description. as for grooming she has them clipped really short and just brushes their heads. they chill all day while shes at work with her just popping home at lunch. they go out for hours in the summer to all sorts of places and in winter are just as happy with a 20 min plod. they bark when somebody knocks on door but pretty quite. i call them her dogs in waiting as they are always asleep waiting untill shes ready to walk/play/groom/feed/cuddle
Send her over then I love gundogs and have a soft spot for those in particular! I think they are about the size I am after as well. I love Westies - my Auntie used to have them (tho they are probably a little smaller than what I'm after) I love Staffies too (tho they are probably a little smaller than what I'm after)
You can have mine ..... two for the price of one. Now that's an offer you can't refuse Azz and if in doubt I'll throw the cat in as well! They may not be the size you're looking for but if you stack them one on top of the other they should end up the right height! Imagine it .... adding three beautiful girls to your harem .... they'll have you wrapped round their paws in no time
I think lurcher too - they come in different sizes and types of coat! Or how about a whippet? Or a beagle or beagle cross?
Two minutes of Da Booga and you would be begging me to take her back, but the drawbridge has been raised, the portcullis dropped, and the moat is full of piranhas. Nah, you really do not want her and no way would I let you have her!
