it was really frightening to see what Americans think is normal....... only in America just doesnt do justice. My Jack Russell Buddy watched it with me and gave me a very weird look as if to say "try it and ill pee in your tea" i simply couldnt do it to him lol please see attached pic of the only time hes been dressed up other than a bandanna his face said it all Not Impressed
I caught the end of this last night, never seen anything like it. Is it just in the US they do stuff like this or do they run competitions over here? not that I'm thinking of getting into anything like this..... honest
I really hope it does not become the latest craze here, poor dogs - I wonder how much impact it has on other dogs, and how these are seen... do they get 'attacked' more? I worry.
I missed it (I think my husband had got the rugby on at the time). Presumably lots of the dogs were poodles? Such a shame, it gives people the wrong idea about them! Actually I don't mind the show clip - a big poodle racing along in lion clip can look magnificent - but there's now way I could cope with that. Pepe enjoys the mud and canal too much, so he's clipped very short all over in a sporting clip - not a pom pom to be seen!
Just found this! I agree, Poodles are often misjudged. My sister-in-law used to have one, it was a very smart, intelligent dog. They were even used as police dogs! Actually you've given me an idea for a thread
ive seen this done in uk. Dont think its a big a craze as usa though. I kinda liked some of them but felt a little sorry for the dogs
