    Full Malinois or cross?

    What do you think? I would say, on the photo alone, that he is probably a cross but not sure.

    "This is Oden he is a Malinois x? , He is about 2 years maybe younger. Oden will need an active home to call his own where he can use his brain and drive. He seems fine with the other dogs here, is neutered, vaccinated and chipped. He is very confident and friendly around people. He will need some basic training, ie lead walking etc.."

    There is also a male Rough Collie called ... "Lassie" :017: - in this rescue, if any of Dogsey peeps are after a new Rough :)

    The head looks Mali but the body looks out of proportion so probably a cross.

    This is Lassie, he is between 3 and 4 years and a real sweet guy. He will need a good groom as covered in matts!!, a tast we will be starting today. Lassie has started his vaccinations and been chipped he will be neutered.

    Could be either, seen plenty of 100% Malinois that look similar.

    The rescue have said they have had a number of working line Malis in the recent past and this boy certainly has the temperament and drive of a full Mali.

    Just been reading about this boy elsewhere and most of the folks are saying working mal and advising a working home ...

    looks pure Malinois to me - albeit with a head like a bucket !!

    I dunno Kirsty - lol you know me I just go with the flow sometimes, so might be if it just feels right. I'd be hoping he's cat friendly and ideally not been castrated. But he does look lovely - I much prefer his 'bucket face' as Bijou puts it :lol:

    I hate to say this, but finding a cat friendly rescue Malinois is going to be a tough call, unless it's a young puppy.

    Do not know any rescues that will pass on an intact dog either .. Private rehomes and older breeder rehomes is a way around that though.,

    Thanks Kirsty :)

    Yeah - that's why I'm just going with the flow, I'm not in any rush, and still feel it's too early but think if the right dog came at the right time and everything just felt 'right' it might happen.
