He is Dogsey's little Super Star. Yet so unaware of his fame. Isn't innocence a wonderful thing?:) :)

    Hahaha! :-D

Have you managed to convince hubby yet that a working line sable shep is on the cards next? ;-)

He is resigned ;-) ... in fact I think I've even managed to convince him that health wise they can be a better bet - and given all the trouble we're having at the moment the prospect of having a strong fit dog is very appealing. I keep showing him pictures of Zak and although he won't admit it I think he's even coming round to thinking that he's not quite as 'ugly' as he first thought :) He is making grumbling noises about having his and hers dogs - I get my working boy and he gets a pretty long coat girl but that's a long way down the line.

:mini: Yay! Interesting that my hubby is the opposite of yours. He thinks Zak (and working lines in general) are far the better type than the longcoats I have favoured in the past (although he does have a very soft spot for lovely old Flamey-bobs). He was even quite tempted himself by a very serious looking little 8 week old workline bred by Zak's breeder a few months ago  Quite amazing considering he is a pure collie man

Good luck in your search when the time comes

You might have noticed that I haven't asked you about Zak's breeder! This is deliberate - I'm worried that if I make contact and there's a litter coming up I may not be able to resist    but I definitely will be getting the details from you when it's time. I'm working very hard to keep the puppy broodiness in check but it's not easy!

That made me laugh. A guy had a little border who loved Jeager so much. She used to run through all of the other dogs, just to get to Jeager. Somebody happened to say.." ooh i think she has a thing for Jeager!" the owner replied, " Yes, thats her boyfriend. She's got a poster of him on her bedroom wall. I have never stopped laughing at that wonderful comment.

    Sensible me: Can't, mustn't, don't!!!!!!!!
    Bad me: Go on then!

Seriously though, at the moment with 2 dogs with long term problems I think taking on a new pup would be too much :009:

It is only advisable to search for a pup when you are ready for one ... although, scratch that ... I was supposed to be waiting a year or two for my working line shepherd ... oops!

And you don't get off so lightly either Jeagi. When are you going to open your heart to a new shep friend?

ooh Moobli. It is so horrible, coming home, and not seeing Jeager looking out of the kitchen window, to see if his dad is home. Then, that lovely welcome, and him getting on the setee, to have his tummy tickled! Dogsey has helped me keep those wonderful memories going! I thank you all so much. (My Beautiful Boy.)
