Haha brilliant way of putting it - you will be hooked for life now ;-)

It sounds as though she has made herself right at home, and is a switched on little lady. Fab :) Also great to hear that Ollie and Tia have come to an understanding so quickly

Now when Tia approaches Ollie he looks at me with cheese in his eyes! He even let her get very carefully into his bed and sit next to him.

    That is very quick, great.

Took my usually very dog friendly Labrador about 6 months before he would allow either of my girls to sit near him!

What a gorgeous pup you have there :007:

I'm sure you and your other four-legged family members are going to have lots and lots of fun with her.

    Thank you.

Well calculating Ollie has realised that he can generate treat opportunities by going over to Tia and talking to her. Then the cheeky boy looks at me waiting for his treat!! His grumping is now very low key but just as effective. Tia follows him around at a very polite distance. Phew!!!

Poor Tia touched the electric fence around the chickens today with her nose. It was bound to happen sooner or later. She has bounced back from it very quickly and has learned a healthy respect for the fence but she is not afraid to go close to it. She's a tough little cookie.

Malcolm touched his nose to the pig fence the other day. He squealed ran away and hid behind me, he also blamed the pigs rather than the fence... Still atleast he won't go near them any time soon.

Great news about Ollie, not so great news about the leccy fence but, as you say, it was going to happen sooner or later and it sounds as though she has bounced back without any problems :)

It was better to get zapped on the tip of her nose than running full pelt into it to get to me when I'm in the run. Most dogs take a few weeks to build up the confidence to go back up the end of the garden once they've been zapped...not Tia, it took 10 minutes. It just shows how resilient puppies are.

I have just been playing fetch in the garden with Ollie. Tia is pottering about and wandered over to his rubber ring. He just put his head in the way and blocked her, which was enough for her to get the message. Bless him!!

OMG!!! Ollie is on his bed in the sitting room with a long rawhide chew he is eating. Guess who else was on the bed NIBBLING THE OTHER END OF THE CHEW!!! Now she's getting away with murder.

Sitting with Oliie who makes her look very tiny. He's 40 kg heavier than her!

She's coming along beautifully. Down is good, she flings herself onto the floor when I say down and put my hand on the ground. I did some group recalls and group downs this morning which she loved.

The first time I hoovered the kitchen when she was in her crate she barked at the hoover, but I just kept going until she had been quiet for a couple of minutes. Now she just ignores the hoover and the steam mop. This morning she met the lawn mower and scuttled off and hid. When she realised Ollie hadn't moved she came back out and watched from a safe distance.

I'm taking her to play with my friend's Briard pup this evening, that should be fun.

The house training is coming along a treat, provided the doors are open Tia will often take herself outside for poos and wees before I get to her. I have been getting up at 4am to take her out for a poo and a wee and so far I have only discovered a totally poo covered puppy and crate once, so that's going well.

She settles well by my feet every evening, but I'm not expecting that to last. I suspect manic puppy evening zoomies will kick in soon.

She has been out either visiting friends or shopping to the feed merchant or pet shop nearly every day so far and is very chilled out about it. She's getting a bit heavy to carry, but in slightly over a week she can go on the ground.

I bought a CD of noise today including loads of fireworks, thunder storms, gunshot, trains etc and it's on at a reasonable volume as I type. She oblivious to the noise, unlike my Springer who clearly needs some practise at this. But Tia was born at the end of the runway to Leeds Bradford airport!

She is getting told off by Ollie on a regular basis because she is constantly pushing her luck. It really good for her as she is reading his body language all the time as she pushes her luck and recognises the subtle signs she has gone too far. Sometimes though she can't help herself and still keeps going!

I'm taking her to visit my niece and nephew tomorrow, that should be a good photo opportunity.
