I know what I think. Hopefully the link will be allowed. http://schwarzkennels.tripod.com/alsatians.html
I am afraid I stopped reading when I got to the allegation that British breeders infused the GSD stock with wolves............... sigh.
:-o Like, erm... how??? *scurries off to read the site* Ohhh now I see! the British took the GSD and tried to make out it was their own breed wot they invented all by theirselves over in Engerland.... by changing the name to the Alsatian Wolf Dog! And there must have been Wolf in it because of the name, right? ;-) Funnily enough when I'd been on that site a couple of minutes it suddenly changed to an Alsatian Shepalute site and I didn't click on anything, yer honour. Might be my computer... might not be...
I have seen this kind of poop spouted on the internet before, by ignorant people who have no idea about European history. According to one person, the Black Death occurred because we had killed all the cats in medieval times because we thought they were witches.... Another poop 'alternative history' concerns the origins of the Rex rabbit. Up until the advent of the internet the history had been well documented... a villager in France called his local priest from the church to look at the odd rabbits he'd bred.... the exact village is documented as well as the names of the parishioner and priest. Although the rabbits were very sickly, afflicted by rabbit syphilis and other maladies, they did have a very unusual short coat without guard hairs and curly whiskers. The Abbot took them away and they developed into the Rex rabbit breed. At the time, breeding rabbits for fur was a big business and coats of normal furred rabbits were shaved during pelt production to get the soft velvet feel. The Rex rabbit needed no such production techniques as it was already without guard hairs and was therefore the "king" of fur breeds. That was well recorded over the years before the Internet came into being, I even saw some archive photos of the very early Rex, definitely from France and definitely in the time frame of development, and from that region in France. Then suddenly on the internet about 10 year ago, there was a story that the first Rex were bred in Belgium and the King of Belgium bred them, therefore they were named Rex Many people preferred to believe that instead (interestingly, non Europeans!), and flying in the face of accurate historical accounts and evidence.
Yes, this expert has previously been a member of Dogsey hasn't she? She says lots of weird and wonderful things.
Yep, glad someone else remembers her. Thought I'd see how her breed is progressing, and found that. How I missed it before I don't know.
Yeah she's the one who sells pups as potential champions (a title which she bestows upon the dog as she sees fit) and breeds from 8 month old bitches because God wants it that way. Madness.
Looking at the planned litters she even knows their temperaments in advance! She's psychic too! One litter will all be friendly, one will be hyper. Apparently none shall have their own personalities. see below: Pups from this breeding shall have: soft plush undercoat. Summer coat nice, Good conformation, strong and compact. Friendly dogs, Not shy nor aloof. Vocals: will be higher pitched than i like. Pups will be a tad bit hyper but will settle down for the most part by 1 year old. Train these pups early on. Training will be easy as they are smart and willing to do. I shall take the most aloof and short coated if i have a choice. All the ears on the pups should be up by 3 months of age This second generation will be over powered with the gsd and the Alsatian. These pups will be nice. The ugliness of the iw strangly coat will be cleaned up. no long scraggly hair on legs or muzzles. A cleaner look, but still wolf like in texture. double correct coat
Oh yes Her dogs are the only ones that don't: Bite kids Chase cars Bark much Or act hyper in the house
Probably! Just looked and the Irish Wolfhound she has mated is only 15 months old I'd better go to bed before I wind myself up.
I only read about half of the page before I had to come off! A fool in more ways than one by the sounds of things!!
I've just wasted about 20 minutes of my life reading the " Hate Page " on her website. Nutty as a fruitcake?
Reading into it, she didn't wait to breed the IWH, the bitch 'didn't breed' on her first season ie. was given the opportunity but didn't take it, so has she wanted to mate she would have been mated.
