Following on from Moobi's thread .. If people have pics of their GSD's as pups and as adults can they post them to see how the colours and markings changed .. Ty ...
This is not really what you are asking for but these pups show what colours they are when young: http://www.kesyragsd.co.uk/pge.php?page=2
Didn't get Casper as a pup, but here's my previous GSD when she was a pup A little older, still thought she was a lapdog though! Lanky "teen" stage And grown up
Cassie as a puppy As an adult: Zena as a puppy: (oh so weird, ugly ducking or what!) All grown up Gotta scan the others coz I didn't have a puter back then!
Zeus at 6 months and now Eris then and now this is freya at 14 weeks and now Arin 7 weeks Getting older Older still And now Isis at 4 weeks At 17 weeks And now
Oh Firesrye, can I come and live at yours please???!!! Can't believe Freya changed so much, lost all that grey flecking at the end of her coat? I will scan my other dogs as puppies, coz one of those changed dramatically as an adult.
Zandi 8wk 9wk 12wk 5mth 3ys 5yrs all my recent ones 6yrs plus are on my FB upload by mobile so I dont have them on my laptop , he looks the same apart from greyer muzzle
Sure you can the more the merrier Freya in her puppy photo dosnt have grey tipping she is just a filthy dirty white pup who dug a hole under the shed in the rain;-)
Some fabulous shepherds on here I don't think I have ever seen Cassie as a pup, H - how gorgeous was she?! I have always found, colour-wise, that my black/gold coloured sheps have been dark as pups and have got lighter as they have got older - and I think that is common. Here is my Flame as a pup A teenager As a young adult As a mature lady
First of all, sorry about the quality of these pics they are from my phone. Molly at 9 weeks Molly at about 12 weeks 13 weeks 4 months As she is now at 5 and a half months Sooo much change in such a short time. In my eyes she's getting more beautiful everyday.
ty at 10 weeks at about 1 year 2 years 4 years and a few weeks ago 6 years old Xeva 6 - 16 weeks 6 months now 9 months
Is there actually any way to tell what the adult will look like from the puppy? From these pics I am guessing not...
I was going to say more or less the same thing. If you are using particular types and lines in your breeding then eventually you get a good idea of the sort of pups you will breed. A good example is to look at the website for Yogi's breeder. They produce dogs that are quite recognisable as from that particular breeder. www.kazetigsds.co.uk
