    Interesting having a nosey back through some of the old GSD threads.

    I ended up with a dog very like the one in the OP that I admired so much :-D I also now know much more about sables and working lines :)

    Thats exactly what I thought when I looked back at this, the dog in your OP is very much like Zak :)

    Here is a pic of my first GSD, Elke, watching over my daughter. Her coat seemed to go a little lighter as she aged. She was about 12 when this was taken.

    I looked back too, and then when I got to the pic that Murf posted I thought 'That looks so much like Gotz' (one of my dogs at A1K9) and then I realised it was. :lol:
