    Ex racer greyhound family tree

    Hi, just wondered how many of you that own ex racers have been on the greyhound data website and looked up their history? Just found out my dogs are distantly related to each other, paris' Great grandad is phils grandad :grin: I guess he was a busy boy :roll:

    This may sound a little strange to those folks who have had their dogs from pups. Its really interesting finding out about their history.

    Yeah there are a few Dogsey dogs that are related - I think Nancy's related through male lines to TomTheLurcher's Bella and she also got beaten in a race by someone else's on here (I forget who off the top of my head).

    Nowthen Last was Nancy's racing name if it crops up in anyone's pedigrees. She did 109 races so she's got two pages on her race history bless her.

    Nancys great grandad is head honcho who is also my paris' great grandad and my Phils grandad :grin:

    Axel's Grandad is Head Honcho - small Greyhound world!
    I found it fascinating to find out about Axel's past and I enjoy watching the videos I got sent of his races, makes me feel like I knew him back then.

    Just realised nancys grandad, top honcho, is phils dad :shock: :grin:

    Very small greyhound world eh!

    I'm really enjoying this, much more interesting than my family tree :grin:

    Head Honcho sounds familiar, just put in the racing name of a bitch I knew a while back and he's her great great grandsire, must have got around a bit :lol:

    Jobie's sire was Spiral Nikita, who sired 6826 pups... :shock:

    It's "On the Darkside" :)
    There's a lot of very prolific Greyhound sires!!!!

    Head Honcho is Lady's great granddad and Robbie's great great granddad.

    Lady's racing name is Crown Spark and Robbie's is Reagan's Best.

    Sorry folks should have mentioned if anyone wants a peek our Phil was headitonphil, and paris was rooster hilton.

    Our two are related to Nancy also, Top Honcho, Head Honcho's son, was Lady's dad and Nancy's Granddad and all three are related through Head Honcho.

    Busy lads both of them - Head Honcho had 4798 off spring and Top Honcho had 10,251!

    Does Phil have white flecks all over him? Lady looks like she has been splashed with white paint.

    Lots of honcho dogs , Bellas grandad is Top Honcho and great grandad Head Honcho , need to have a family reunion lol, there is also a bookface page for Honcho decendants !

    If it's the one I'm looking at it's called "desendants (spelt that way) of top honcho".

    Took some finding but never underestimate the power of a woman procrastinating about putting the washing on.
