IPO 3 is basically Sch III or VPG III under FCI/international rules

Not particularly the police have to have dogs that have drive but not too much if you know what I mean

She is related to Kofi, Zidane is Kofi's grandad. You might want to read up on Zidane vh sevens a bit, he is considered to be a very strong hard male.

There is quite a bit about him on the net if you have a google, I also know a few people with Zidane progeny. They are all happy with them but they all work them too.

Not extreme no, Zidane was a strong dog, but none of the others pop out to say "wow"

Thanks Scout. I will have a google and a read on Zidane. Any pup I get (from whichever line) will be worked, but just not in protection (unless I can regularly get to a Schutzhund club) :)

Can anyone help me with the pedigree name of Ralph, the Central Scotland police dog that won the 2011 Nationals? And whether his pedigree is on the GSD Pedigree Database. Thanks.

Post police dogs have the police force as their affix eg

    Westmids Wanderer
    Notspol Alfie
    Metpol Fred
    etc

So what is the one the Scottish police use?

No, the National (not Scottish National) 2010 - won by Sergeant Simon Young and Ralph - hosted by Lincolnshire Police.
