    What breed is this stray?

    Hi there, seeking advice from experts... I recently took in a stray and am taking care of her until I find her owners. Although she needs a grooming, was wondering if anyone had any ideas of her breed(s)? I am leaning towards some sort of Terrier so posted in here...

    Here are pics of her when I took her in (don't worry she got a good bath!)..

    i think she looks like she at very least has some cairn terrier in her, the only thing stopping me saying pure bred is she looks a bit leggy.

    dont quote me on that i dont know a lot about terriers, hopefully someone with a bit of terrier knowledge will post soon.

    i hope you do find her owners and a huge well done for taking her in, in the meantime :D:D

    She looks like a cairn cross to me too but couldn't tell you what! Not a terrier person either! Looks very cute though.

    So cute, looks a lot like my Cairn cross, only she has floppy ears and shorter legs! (we think she's possibly half Patterdale)

    possibly a westie x. You can't always tell though, I know someone with a westie x chihuahua that looks like a solid black JRT.

    Well, seeing as the OP is in Canada, her tail was docked, which leads me to believe she is Schnauzer, maybe crossed with a Carin, or a Poodle (as "Schnoodles" are somewhat popular here)

    There wont be any patterdale, there are very few here.
