Thanks Jen. When we are on the fields at lunch time and she has her mad burst it is so funny as like most salukis she doesn't run in a straight line but zig zags and it is legs all over the place She is so fast that mostly I can't keep up with her with the camera
I read once that this is why they can't accurately time/measure a Saluki against a Grehound because they zig zag. It certainly confuses other dogs
Sheepdog cross would be my guess. I've seen a litter of saluki pups out of two cream parents.The dam had only cream and 1 silver grizzle in the 12 generations of her known pedigree.The sire had a black fringed red dam who's sire was b+t (dam line cream)The litter contained 4 creams,1 black fringed fawn and !black and silver.
