Go on - convince me even more that the next dog I should get should be a grey - rescue of course. I have 2 - 4 months to wait, then I should be getting one. So go on - pictures please.
Be sure to check out the Greyhound Breed Profile for photos too (just scroll down to the 'photos submitted by members' bit).
Axel is insulted you're needing to still be convinced after meeting him and Bella and Tom! (joking) Well, they are regal... ...but look silly when they try and sit Their ears have a mind of their own They CAN learn...but it can take a while (bless their hearts) They have the occasional burst of energy But spend a lot of time like this... I mean like this! And LOVE their family Any more reasons needed?! You know I could go on all day
Go along to one of the RGT Nottingham walks for a bit of greystalking They've a multitude of sleeping positions to amuse you and can stretch out or curl into a tiny ball to fit into the available space. Playful & once they've done stuffy killing they know how to use it as a comfy pillow for that all important rest Have beautiful eyes that make you melt Gorgeous and can make you feel like you go walking with a celebrity at times as so many people stop you to ask about them or to give them some fuss.
Ooooooh....how fabby!! I whole thread just for greys and lurchers!! Ding dong!! Here's my Jenny (lurcher) Guinness (grey) and Danny (lurcher) and Poppy my new lurcher! I'm so glad you're hoping to ge a greyound!! You won't be disappointed!!
Greyhounds beautiful easy dogs, so loving and gentle and lazy. Here is Kyiro who since getting him has made me realise what I have been missing all these years. Of all the breeds I've owned greyhounds really are the best. We are getting a new one too Evie who I will get some pics of tomorrow when we go to see her again.
Lovely greyhounds!!!! I'm in love! <3 So so so annoyed we couldnt get one... We were hoping for a rescue but because we dont have a fenced garden and a toddler, no rescue is willing to give us one! But they are luscious!
Gorgeous Greys and Lurchers! Can't get enough Have you tried private charities? There are some who home with toddlers and without gardens at all I'm sure...don't give up if it's what you really want Do you have anywhere nearby they can be let off that's secure? Does you toddler know how to behaved around children?
Here are a couple of pics I took this morning at the rescue of our new hound Evie/Lily who will be coming home with us in 2 weeks once she has finished her season. Unfortunatly it was raining but here she is meeting my daughter Charly.
