Do you not have to have a licence if you have wolves or wolf hybrids?

Sadly, this is all too true. I don't want to into the whole "wolf" thing - whether or not my boy Hal was a wolf x or not, that is irrelevant to this argument - but in our experience, all too frequently the sort of people attracted to the "wolf" look are indeed not the sort of people you would want to have ANY breed, let alone a challenging breed.

There are many exceptions of course, I know several breeders very well who are very ethical and breed lovely dogs, but it is a sad fact that the "wolf" scene tends to attract an undesirable element.

A bit like staffies I suppose, falling into thugs' hands who think they are 'ard :(

No, but dogs do. Often, with wolf crosses you will get double dew claws on the hind legs, but wolves do not apparently.

i searched it and there is another one who i am pretty sure is the same person (the map is to the same place anyway and the pics are different but the dogs look the same and the womans name is the same, anyway)...

It says the first one was posted 2 days ago, and the other one 4 hours ago... they must be desperate to get rid :(

*Sighs resignedly*...I'm beyond the point of getting angry now.

More irresponsible idiots as breeders, and mostlikely, more clueless fools as new owners.

    What's new?

I agree. I've managed (thicko me) to log on to the appropriate website, and if I had to stake my life on saying yes or no and getting it right, I would say no ... and certainly not 85%. One should never go by looks alone, but if they are claiming as much as 85%, I would be inclined to say no way.
