Quoting from another recent thread that was very similar. The history of eddie's dogs? A widely accepted bunch of shelter/stray mixes? Rumoured wolf hybrids? Brought over then kept in very questionable conditions and put too anything, sibes, collies, gsd, mals, even heard rumours of mastiffs, weims and others. In condition that as quoted, were very questionable..puppies down holes, dogs under caravans, roaming around her farm etc (all has been mentioned on board before). Doesn't sit well does it? And they aren't nothern breeds lets be serious, they are crossbreeds, lovely crossbreeds but still just that. I have a crossbreed, and she's great
No - YOU answer MY question for once, instead of just keeping on calling me a liar. When did you ever meet Eddy? You seem to know so much about her, so much so that you doubt what I say is true! I have no idea what or when she bred Sibes. I was not interested. She told me that in the past, she had bred GSDs, Mals, Sibes and I believe Dobes, although I could be wrong on that last one.
Im sorry, that proves absolutely nothing, except Id have gone to another Vet subsequently. Im not surprised he was upset Gnasher, not at all. However, I DID listen but you choose not to hear. He was a dog, a normal behaving dog, some dogs show pain, some dont.
My mothers GSD snapped her cruciate and the Vet did not believe it because of the way she was behaving
I never said she was was intelligent! .... she's dumb! but she can open doors and if you shut her out she will pull down the handle and open the door... just sayin! Now my old collie x setter and my collie x springer ... now they were 2 smart dogs!
I still do not consider that nearly as clever as my boy watching me for a few seconds, and then holding his paw down on the ice lever hard enough and long enough to get the ice out. come on Tassle, you've got to admit that is dang clever.
Did I say I hadn't? Sadly, no-one except for us and those who knew him will ever understand how VERY different Hal was. Ben is a watered down version of him, but sadly barely comes close. You should never try to replace a beloved dog, it is impossible, there will only ever be one Hal ... the world isn't ready for another one!! And on that happy note, I shall go to bed.
what has that to do with her breeding sibes? our foundation sibes are very traceable..and she would of been there at almost the beginning..thats why i believe she was telling you porkies..and you believed her.
I NEVER SPOKE TO HER ABOUT SIBES. I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN SIBES. I WAS INTERESTED IN HER WOLF CROSSES. O Lord!!
I never said it was not clever :? I just do not think that it is a unique trait to these types of dogs
yet you still believed everything she told you...she didnt breed sibes did she lol....oh and no need to SHOUT! eta...... now make up ur mind is it northern breeds or so called wolf mutts lol
I just think you havent been around enough other types to appreciate how different dogs are. I dont mean that in a bad way or in a derogatory way, but I think if you had, you would realise you had a normal dog. The way you describe is much like an Afghan Hound. Hamiltonstovare can open fridge locks too!
Well Gnasher if Hal was such a difficult dog and you used him at stud I do hope you had a say on where all his puppies went and made sure they went to people that could handle them and not just to friends and family. And kept contact with puppy owners to see how they turned out and if any problems were showing.
Well speaking for humans a partial tear is agony, a complete rupture is not exactly pleasant but it is common to not have much pain at all
