Who has said that health testing is the be all and end all of ethical breeding? I must have missed that one :?

You seem to hold that in the highest esteem, but that does figure.

Can you explain that please---I don't think anything that Celts breeder did was a rip off. What happened was unfortunate and couldn't have been forseen by anyone.

Emmm You did mention it lol The so called friend I posted about does the above but mates sub standard dogs. My friend knows the Poodles confirmation is crap but how many crossbreeders know??? They may believe they are doing everything ethically but could be producing problems

Now why would I need an excuse to make myself feel better? What am I supposed to feel bad about.

I see the TRUCE lasted at least a day. Well done, 'could do better if she tried' comes to my teacher head

We really need a new thread titled---'lets get all the bile and vitriol against rune and tassle out here and leave the other threads clear for decent discussions with reasonable people.'

I hate to see people bullied and judging by PM's and rep so do others but they are frightened to stand up for themselves.

Take a look at what you do Dawn and if you are truly proud of it then carry on by all means but if not how about honouring the TRUCE you suggested.

I mentioned it as Part of ethical breeding  (please note the 'etc' ;))...do you not think it is an important part?

IMO All parts are important to be an ethical breeder. Do you believe crossbreed breeders know all there is about the 2 breeds they are crossing?? Even a lot of top/ well known Show Breeders can be kennel blind to faults

    I don't know - I haven't asked them all.

I would only delve that deeply if I was looking to get a pup from one of them.

And sadly I find I have to agree with you about top and well known breeders still breeding from dogs with faults, but then - so does everyone :?:....is not the ultimate aim improvement (as we are always being told)?....Surely if they were breeding from dogs with No faults, they would have nothing to improve upon? Having already achieved that perfection?

How do you know ??? unless they prove it

Point being Rune, two points actually you said dogs from "ethical " breeders of crossbreeds would be more likely to find homes, than from the roadside adverts in Wales. which makes one wonder considering as you say yourself, there seems to be an increase in this type of selling, why they would bother .

Point two, Laura-Anne claims and argued for ethical breeders of crossbreeds, using her parents as an example,, ofcause you are right no one has to prove anything, but its makes a mockery of your argument if you cant back up your claims of A.B.C.

Off now to walk my neighbors dogs

What I actually said was "I think the odd decently bred crossbred litters are more likely to find homes than a lot of those dogs. "

What you have done is provided proof that one thing you said about yourself is true!

How doi I know to believe you?

You see how silly it gets when people keep wanting proof?

In case anyone has missed other threads, I dont have a good relationship with my parents. Hence why I have my own place at the age of 19 and have done for some time. So yes it would cause an arguement if i brought something which has already been discussed. Its not worth it to prove a point.

Where exactly have I slipped up. I have been consistent with all the information I have provided. The first time I mentioned registers with crosses I said I didnt agree with it. It still says on it shes a crossbreed. My dads nickname for her is mutt. They know exactly what she is lol

They have not been duped it shows her lines, she has a registered name to that register. Obviously it does not mean anything. They know that.

And why is it just about my parents fs, i was talking about those out there which I have seen.

Havent read all of the points because they all seem awfully irrelevant but I think that covers the jist of what I read

lol but seriously this thread is getting ridiculous.

I am not willing to start yet another fight with my parents over dogs, so everything for clarity to anyone who reads this all I have said about my parents is a claim based on the trust they have done what they said and the info I had seen. Irrespective there are breeders I have come across who do the same. And as I have said before dont know why they wouldnt have just got a pup 20 mins away rather than traveling for her otherwise.

Can everyone live with that, good :)

I don't think a voice over would quite cover it.

More like a catch up service where you can watch previous episodes in full.
