HA HA - I have trouble on walks getting shots of Charlie as he's usually in the opposite field to the one I'm in!!!! Typical English Setter.
Some more - taking a real trip down memory lane here The adorable Sacha and my first English Jazz (taken too young from us took me a long time to get over her) Maxy Puppy pics: Maxy - one of my fave pics! Hamish (who now lives with my mum) Loving this thread Clare!! Loving the setters
Rachel, I am loving your gang and now have a hankering for a Gordon one day!! Jessi, where's Griffin??? He is still a setter after all!!;-)
More of Tess, our first English, these are pre digital so not great quality!! But she was a fabulous girl and still greatly missed... Deacon reminds me of her and not just in looks!! Aged about 10 months... Aged about 4 years... (please excuse the carpet!!) Aged about 8 years...
Thought he might be a bit young yet, doesn't quite compare to all the handsome grown-ups, still very much cute! Griffin - Gordon/Irish x. Coming home. His first day, and bed! First walk... 14 weeks, looking innocent, emphasis on 'looking'! Bang up to date, taken yesterday, 16 weeks. Sorry, think I may have gone a little overboard with the pics! Have no idea why the first pic is tiny, can't change it, but yes that is a washing basket! Rachel, I am going to have to look out a very old pic to scan of our gordon Ben that I grew up with, he and Maxy are the spitting image of each other as pups!
Wow Jess, he has had a growth spurt!! I love your boys!! Rachel, please can we have baby Bentley on this thread!!;-) ;-)
Thanks Claire,I'm still convinced someone is sneaking gro-more into his food when I'm not looking , one week he'll be super leggy and then the next, like this one, his head seems waay too big for his body! Think Chester might have competition when he's older;-) I agree Rachel, many, many more Bentley pics pretty please!!
I've loved the photo's on this thread, such lovely looking dogs. I have to say they all look quite angelic in the pics My ultimate dream dog is a Gordon Setter, some day....
Cally (RIP baby girl ) 12 weeks (pre-digital poor quality sorry) 2 years 5-ish years (teenage bedroom mess lol...Cally wasn't allowed upstairs...shhh!) 11 years Almost 12 years old taken a few weeks before she was pts. I miss her so much.
I must stop looking at these floppy soppy setters, I must keep telling myself that I am not having one, I must keep telling self that GSPs are much more my thing, I must not waste time on the internet looking at setters, I must not start thinking about which I like best, I must, when I walk past them just look, note how nice some of them are and move on, I must, I must, I must..... Ok you've got me, part of me really wants one....... I have my reasons for not wanting one now though.. 1, because is just not possible to have another dog right now ... 2, I like GSPs and would choose them over a setter for various reasons. 3, Um, um, erm, errrr.... oh ok yes I'd make room for one.... Oh no it's that slippery slope......
