I've just googled them and apparently you can get them although the pics I saw of them they didn't look very yellow.

The picture they show to me looks very cocker.

If it shows thats it, its not very clear (from that I mean face), but I wouldn't say springer. Also breed standard only allows black or liver and white, or any of them with tan markings ;)

Cocker spaniel you can, springer you can't.

Springer spaniel colours from KC website,

    http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/114

    Cocker Spaniel fro KC site,

Basically too many to list lol, although this site goes through them,

    http://www.thecockerspanielclub.co.uk/colours.htm

Although most of them are show type, I would say this dog is a working type cocker spaniel personally.

I think you will find they are not breed standard colours just a different colour that has been bred. Bit like long haired GSD's not being able to be shown but lots of people like them.
I have seen what the owner called a lemon CKCS round here and it is definetly a CKCS but not a colour that is listed in the breed standard.

Don't forget people, the dog in this advert is being sold as a Springer spaniel, not a Cocker spaniel ;)

First off, thats not lemon ;) lemon is a really light almost white yellow, thats red/orange, second of all that looks more like a Welsh Springer Spaniel then a English Springer Spaniel, like what these are :)

    With Spaniel colours though, there are;
English Springer Spaniel, brown and white or black and white, with or without tan markings,
Welsh Springer Spaniel, Red and White,
English cocker Spaniel, look at the link I posted earlier lol, too many colours,
Cavalier, black and tan, ruby, blenheim (basically the ruby and white), and tri colour.

Well they are the most popular spaniels lol, I wont go into all the different spaniel types, it would take me forever lol.

A bit OT but why are dog colours all becoming so fanciful? As in chocolate, lemon, apricot, lilac etc? What happened to brown dogs? Or grey ones?

Don't know, but Lemons been around a long time, just think about Clumber Spaniels :)

    http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/112

Lemon just describes the really pale yellow colour found on some dogs, I've not heard it called anything else before, so I don't know how old/new it is to describe dogs as being that colour.

Hi ive got a Lemon and white English springer spaniel.
But his colour wasnt bred into him as his mum and dad are both liver and white.
Must just be a fault in the gene as there was only 2 in the litter this colour.

Also they are called lemon as when they are registered at birth they are a VERY pale yellow colour . ill see if i can find a pic of him when he was born and the colour he is now and repost on here :).
Hes now a very ginger colour!!

You get lemon Dallies too, lemon is a dilute liver, so you will get it if you breed certain colours together, like lilac FCRs etc.
