The sarrloos was added for the same reason all the various breeds were used in the N.I- to create a type of dog
Yeah that was the stock answer given when it was questioned when it first came about..Murph obviously knows better though... SO...HUH??? SO adding SWD to an NI automatically make a new type of dog??
I am confuzzled http://www.inuits.co.uk/7.html Surely you still need a licence etc to keep a wolf hybrid?? Is shoshone planning on breeding with these?
SO adding SWD to an NI automatically make a new type of dog?? Do you regard the N.I as a new type of dog?
You said the SWD was added (to make a better temprement) to the NI? but now you are saying it was added to the NI to make a type of dog I answered you..with Then you quoted me again and said the above.. No its not a new type of dog as its been around for 20+years ...it is a type of dog yes..but its not a BREED of dog..much as a lurcher is a type..but not a breed
I didn't say anything personally- I said the idea was..... Then you tried to pin me down to temperament in an effort to be argumentative. And then i said the idea was to create a 'type' of dog i.e the traits of the breeds involved - temperament, health, looks etc Then you tried to be argumentative again by assuming that I meant a new breed of dog. so no I don't think its a new type of dog
Lol I just realised what I got wrong. When I read the website about up and coming litters I assumed the 'hybrid' litter they were on about were from the bitches and studs mentioned previously on the page. What a muppet I am! I get it now!
there is nothing wrong with the temp of the saarloos,it has the temp of its breed standard :? :? thats the great thing bout csv and saarloos ,chalk and cheese in alot of respects ;-)
LOL...you obviously haven't seen me being "arguementative" yet... I never try to pin you down..you said it..I think you are maybe even confusing yourself? You said a new "type" of dog (no one mentioned breed!!)...as did I! they are a type not a new type.. I picked up on what you said about adding SWD to NI makes them British Wolfdogs and I wondered how that came about..By crossing NI to SWD they suddenly become BW's?? BW is a new TYPE of dog..its not a new breed..none of them are..they are all types/crosses.. The idea behind adding SWD & CWD was to make the NI look more wolfy..if its not then you better go tell the NIS that....
i think you will find its not the dogs themselves..it is the lies and delusions behind them, along with ethics(or lack of).
I just want to say that when i read the title of this thread i thought it said ''please howl??'' ... so HOWWWWWWLLLLL...
