Kira is a race approved sibe!! WOOHOO Dog Sports

Kira has FINALLY been assessed by 2 CC siberian judges

For those who dont know, non KC registered Sibes have to be assessed by at least 2 CC judges to determine whether the dog is actually a full Siberian. If they are approved they are then given a 'race number', which allows them to work in rallys

Kira was approved yesterday and so will recieve a race number for BSHRA (British Siberian Husky Racing Association). Im not sure if this gives her access to rallies organised by other organisations but if not then at least she can do BSHRA ones for now, and I will have her approved for the other organisations

Both the judges said that just by looking at her they could see that she is full sibe, and a stunning one at that! So im well happy!

I believe the number only works for BSHRA - are there many of their rallies your way? I have only ever done two BSHRA rallies as there are not many round here Shame as they are well organised and FUN

Same applies to the Scottish Siberian Husky Club. Unregistered dogs can run if they are assessed by 2 CC judges. Kira will be able to run at SADAS rallies as well

Yea it was the R2 rally yesterday, it was good fun and very relaxed (tho it was a fun day), we have a few BSHRA ones here, most of the ones i'll be able to do will be Brandon, Thetford and Rendlesham, tho i plan to start driving lessons again later in the year, then pass my test and get a van, then i'll be able to go further afield

She got covered in tea yesterday tho, a lil pup walked quite close as i was about to take a sip lol i spilt it all down her, not that she noticed!

we tried kira in mishka's harness yesterday @ the end of the rally & she did really well. a very strong puller too.

she must have done well if you plan to steal her and hook her up with your team!
