The Siberian Husky Welfare Association (UK) If you are looking to rehome an unwanted Siberian Husky, contact us via our website www.huskywelfare.org.uk. There is an adoption application form on the website as well as loads of info about the way we work and what we expect from people wishing to adopt from us. Once your application is received, you will be contacted by our nearest coordinator who will arrange to come and visit you and carry out a home check (basically to check fences, security etc). Once your application is approved, we then set about finding the dog which is best suited to your situation. Please be aware though, that all our foster homes are currently full and our staff, who are all volunteers with full-time jobs, families and their own dogs to care for are completely exhausted after a hard non-stop 30 months. In that time we have taken in and rehomed 360 unwanted Siberian Huskies and our help, support and advice have enabled many more Huskies to be reconciled with their owners. So, for the next few weeks, we will only be able to deal with existing applications and genuine emergency cases. Please bear with us while we have a short break to reconnect with our own lives.) Mick
